Description These fall colored leather leaf barrettes are loosely modeled after the cheerful little birch leaves in my area. Each one is cut from high quality tooling leather, which is hand carved and shaped, then hand painted in rich autumn hues. I love making these little leaves – each one is a little bit different, with its own character. MEASUREMENTS MATERIALS ✭ Measures about 4.75″ from stem to tip, and approximately 4″ wide. ✭ Holes are 2.75″ apart (small – medium spacing). ✭ Sticks range from 6 – 7.5″ in length; use the drop down menu to choose size and color ✭ Hand crafted using tooling leather, artist grade acrylic paints, and high quality wood sticks Premium tooling leather is cut, carved, sculpted, dyed and painted before being sealed with a protective top coat. This small – medium spacing is best suited for fine hair, smaller sections of hair, or for use as a shawl pin. These hair accessories use high quality wooden hair sticks. The drop down menu also lists the length and shape of each color. The design is part of an open ended series. Since they’re handcrafted, there will be minor variations from one to the next.
