Peacock Feather Leather Shawl Pin with Padauk Wood Stick

Description This hand crafted leather peacock feather shawl pin was hand tooled using premium tooling leather. The colors are a mix of shimmering hues, including green, bronze, royal blue and indigo, and they are FAR more vibrant than I can capture in my photos. MEASUREMENTS MATERIALS ✭ The leather feather measures approximately 4.25″ wide x 2″ high at the widest and highest points ✭ Fastens with a handcrafted padauk wood stick, measuring 5.75″ long ✭ The holes for the hair stick are spaced about 2.5″ apart, which is a small fit ✭ Materials include: tooling leather, acrylic paint, sealant, wooden stick The hole spacing determines how much hair the barrette will hold. This hair slide has a hole spacing of 2.5″, which is on the smaller side. As such, this one will hold a small sized section of hair. It will also work nicely as a shawl pin. ♥ A portion of this sale will be donated to cancer research in loving memory of my friend Mahala, who inspired this series in 2010.
